Cruising the Norwegian
An increasing number of people are booking cruises with Norwegian cruise lines in order to take in the beauty of Norway and other Scandinavian countries. The coast of Norway is consistently ranked as one of the most beautiful coastlines to be found anywhere in the world.

Pick the time of the year just right and a passenger can view the Midnight Sun or the Northern Lights also known as Aurora Borealis. Aurora Borealis is nature’s equivalent to a massive laser show and is a must for anyone on Norwegian cruise lines. You do have to be on the right cruise at the right time though as Aurora Borealis can normally only be seen from March to April or September to October.
Norway is full of interesting towns and villages including Oslo, Bergen and Tromso. Tromso is particularly interesting to visitors due to the presence for the large number of wooden houses to be found there. It is also known as a place where the Tirpitz battleship was sunk.
Norwegian Cruise Line With the F3 Design
Norwegian Cruise Line’s in-the-works F3 is slated to take the cruise industry by storm. Norwegian Cruise Line CEO Colin Veitch told, “We have thrown away the rule book of ship design and started with staterooms.” Industry buzz is centered on the shape of the entry-level staterooms.
Anyone who has ever sailed on a cruise ship knows to expect a large box inside the ship. This obstruction houses your cabin’s bathroom and it protrudes into the living area taking up a lot of floor space. In a new cabin design called the “Wave”, Norwegian Cruise Line has split the bathroom. Wave cabins will have a shower cubicle on one side and a toilet cubicle on the other.
The most noticeable design upgrade in the staterooms is the curved walls, giving an illusion that you have a more spacious living area. An earth-tone palette offset with deep shades of blues, reds and oranges lends a more elegant flair to even the most basic of cabins.
In the spirit of an entire makeover of the cruise experience, Norwegian’s F3 ships will offer some exclusive and highly untraditional nightlife options for guests starting with a “nightclub” that is not just for nights.
Start your day at POSH Beach Club with morning cocktails, yoga classes and wake-up music that sets the mood. Private cabanas, exhilarating music, spiked snow cones and plenty of time for sunning at the afternoon. At night, POSH transformed into an exclusive nightclub with dancing and bottle service.
Each F3 ship will have its own “ice bar”. Norwegian Cruise Line’s ice bar will be totally frozen. With a temperature of 17 degrees Fahrenheit, most guests will come for a drink or two then move on to other party venues aboard ship.
There is Spice H20, a “transforming” environment which will revolve through three phases each day: Sunny Spice, Aqua Spice and All Spice. Here you can enjoy a range of music, activity and food choices throughout the day and night.
